The On-Command® four-wheel drive system includes Turf Mode which unlocks the rear differential for a tighter turning radius and minimal turf damage, ideal for preserving your grass during household chores or any time you find yourself on delicate turf. The updated front differential also offers quicker locking engagement and disengagement.
The advanced and heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide maximum articulation in low speed situations and a balanced feeling when trail riding. Wide-arc A-arms paired with high performance long travel FOX 2.0 QS3 shocks provide incredible bottoming resistance with smooth high speed damping. These units can be switched between three custom positions tool-free to enhance comfort during relaxed driving, increase damping for normal trail riding and maximise damping during sport driving.
The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R Compact's class-leading selectable EPS system that allows drivers to select between three different steering modes to match driving preference via a dash-mounted switch. HIGH mode offers more assistance, best for low-speed maneuvers and relaxed riding. STANDARD mode is a great balance of light steering and positive feedback for trail riding. And LOW mode provides less assist for greater feedback and a sportier feel thats perfect for higher speed riding. Theres also a differential lock setting that offers maximum steering assist when the front differential lock is engaged.
The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R Compact is one of the most versatile machines in the two-row side-by-side market. In addition to its ability to comfortably seat up to four adults, including cargo, the Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R Compact features an ingenious storage system for cargo flexibility. By folding and sliding the rear seats forward, the rear area expands and securely transports up to 272kg of cargo with its multiple steel tie-down points. With 255mm rotors and 32mm dual piston calipers up front and 244.5mm rotors and 27mm dual piston calipers in the rear, the perfectly-matched master cylinder and steel braided brake lines bring the RMAX to a stop, even in the toughest of terrains.

The Wolverine RMAX4 is equipped with Yamaha's Speed Management System which uses the YCC-T to limit the vehicle to a top speed of 40 kph without sacrificing the full power of the 999cc engine.
