A road scrambler with a sixties soul. Inspired by the Big Bear Run in the Californian desert. Fuelled by gut feel, powered by the acclaimed Royal Enfield parallel twin. #InGutWeTrust
The Bear 650 embodies the spirit of a 16-year-old rookie who, in 1960, lined up alongside hundreds of sideburned hopefuls, all hungry to win the wildest race the Californian desert had ever known—the Big Bear Run.
SCRAMBLE IN STYLE.
Inspired by a legendary race in the Californian desert, every nut, bolt and stitch on the Bear is a tribute to its badass, bad-roader heritage. Whether the road gets good, bad or ugly, you will scramble in style.
LOOKS AS GOOD AS IT FEELS
This canyon carver features upsidedown forks on the front suspension promising complete confidence and control on open roads, graded trails and broken tarmac.
FUELLED BY THE GUT.
Fuelled by the gut and powered by Royal Enfield’s proven 650cc parallel twin engine. Cased in a highly durable, premium black finish, it looks rugged and purposeful, amplifying the Scrambler attitude.
Chunky dual purpose tyres are a key scrambler feature. They provide more grip on loose surfaces without losing confidence on tarmac. The open square tread blocks give a retro flavour.
BEAR IT AND GRIN
A road scrambler with a sixties soul. Inspired by the Big Bear Run in the Californian desert. Fuelled by gut feel, powered by the acclaimed Royal Enfield parallel twin.
FULL MAP TRIPPER DASH
Tripper Dash – because the gut doesn’t know everything! Access your music, messages, maps, and more without taking your phone out with the Bear 650’s Tripper Dash powered by Google Maps.
USD FRONT SUSPENSION
The Showa SF-BPF and Twin RSU with 5-step preload adjustable rear suspension make it a smooth ride on every terrain, even with added weight.
FULL LED LIGHTING
LED lighting all around – headlamp, taillamps and trafficators – increases visibility, adds a premium touch and is a first on the twins platform.
BRAKES & TYRES
Featuring Dual Channel switchable ABS and equipped with 19 inch (front) and 17 inch (rear) spoked wheels with MRF NYLOREX dual purpose tyres – The Bear 650 feels confident on tarmac and when the tarmac ends.
CHASSIS
At the core of the Bear 650 lies a solid steel tubular double cradle frame. Steeped in success, this mild-mannered underdog of the desert awaits the rallying cry of the Gut.
BENCH SEAT
Ride comfortably every time thanks to the Bear 650’s stylish Bench ‘Scrambler style’ seat
2-INTO-1 HEADER EXHAUST
It contributes to the 8% increase in peak torque compared to other models on the platform. The compact single silencer & cat box with stainless headers reduces mass compared to a twin silencer system and pulls mass closer to the centre of the motorcycle. The exhaust has a distinctive sound – different to any of our other Twins platform models.
