Feet Forward. Heads Turning.
The new Ducati XDiavel V4 challenges every convention, bringing that unmistakable Ducati DNA to the cruiser world. With an elegant, muscular and uncompromising silhouette, it dominates the scene with its sculped design and magnetic presence.
At its heart, the V4 Granturismo ensures exhilarating performance and smooth delivery with its 168 hp, boosting the riding pleasure without sacrificing on comfort.
The Granturismo is the V4 engine derived from the Desmosedici Stradale. Electrifying performance is guaranteed with 168 hp and 12.8 kgm of torque. Powerful and responsive at all speeds, it offers an exceptionally smooth experience right from low rpm.
Versatile and easy to ride, it's as comfortable on the highway as it is fun through the twists and turns.
Forward footpegs and Sport Cruiser ergonomics
XDiavel V4's riding position is relaxed, characterized by wide handlebars, forward footrests and a very comfortable spoon-shaped
seat. The ergonomic triangle has been improved on the new generation Xdiavel, to ensure the rider greater comfort. For a sportier
riding position and greater lean angle, the footrests can also be repositioned centrally using the kit available as an accessory.
Sporty chassis
XDiavel V4's fully adjustable suspension is equipped with 50 mm diameter upside-down forks (with compression and preload adjustment on the left stem and rebound on the right stem) and in a shock absorber with separate reservoir. Wheel travel is 120 mm at the front and 145 mm at the rear, increasing travel by 35 mm compared to XDiavel 1260, with positive effects on rider and passenger comfort
Two new colour schemes, exclusive to XDiavel V4
The new Burning Red and Black Lava colour schemes are developed by Centro Stile Ducati exclusively for XDiavel V4 and designed to emphasise its volumes and sculpted lines.
240 mm rear wheel with 5-spoke rim
The single-sided aluminium swingarm shows off the rear wheel, which fits the massive 240/45 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyre. The five-spoke wheels are star-shaped to reinforces the reference to American muscle cars.
Increased rider and passenger comfort
XDiavel V4 ensures a relaxed and comfortable riding position. 770 mm from the ground, the spoon-shaped seat typical of a cruiser is made more comfortable with an extra 54mm of foam with respect to XDiavel 1260.
Passenger comfort is boosted with a seat that is 30% wider, 50% roomier lengthways, and with foam that is 25 mm thicker at the sides. The rear handle provided with the bike can easily be mounted on the rear to provide more passengers' comfort on longer trips.
Audacious exhaust
The Twin Pulse firing order, together with the dedicated exhaust system developed with great attention to "sound quality," unmistakably characterise the XDiavel V4 Granturismo's timbre. The extended rear-cylinder deactivation system, which allows the engine to operate as a twin-cylinder or as a four-cylinder with an imperceptible transition due to its gradualness, generates a change in the tone of the exhaust noise as it switches from one mode to the other. A deeper sound, with lower frequencies, characterizes the V4 Granturismo when only the two front cylinders are active, while when all four cylinders are operating the frequencies become higher.
Full LED lighting system
The front DRL with double C design has the typical Ducati naked shape and narrows towards the top, highlighting the sleek appearance of the front end and wrapping itself around a single bifunctional module that has a more aggressive and technical look, while also showing off the heat sink as a design element.
The turn signals are integrated and create a blade of light that makes for a smooth, homogeneous look.
6.9" colour TFT display
The 6.9" colour TFT display is well integrated with the forged body of the handlebar and boasts optical bonding technology for greater visibility in all lighting conditions. The Road info mode has been specifically redesigned to reflect unique cruiser style.
Counter-rotating crankshaft for surprising handling
As on the MotoGP prototypes, the crankshaft is counter-rotating, meaning that it rotates in the opposite direction to the wheels, to compensate for the gyroscopic effect and ensure handling and agility through the changes of direction, as well as reducing the tendency to wheelie during acceleration and braking.
