Everything you need to set off As sporty as it gets, or with optimised comfort for longer trips: The equipment for the R 1300 RS leaves nothing to be desired. The Performance model variant is designed for a dynamic riding style with its sport suspension, milled and adjustable footrest system, DTC-Shift and sport tyres. If you would prefer to prioritise touring capabilities, you can also opt for seat heating, the Riding Assistant, windscreens of various heights, and numerous luggage options.
High-end features for high performance Kit your bike out with technical finesse, leaving you to focus on the ride. The optional automated shift assistant (ASA) can do some of the work for you, automatically taking over the tasks of clutch operation and gear-shifting. Among other features, the optional Riding Assistant offers radar sensors at the rear for increased safety, and adaptive distance control (ACC) for a more fun ride.
Launch your own sport event The engine has truly earned its sporty moniker: boxer. Packing a unique punch, it is made for a sporty ride, chasing curves and straight sections. It allows for a relaxed ride with minimal gear-shifting over long distances, as well as offering a spontaneous kick whenever you fancy it. It’s always ready to sprint, offering you 145 hp and 149 Nm of torque. Its broad rotational speed range allows for powerful torque build-up, even at low rotational speeds.
A boxer at its best The buff total package: This athlete is ready for high speeds and adrenaline-charged marathon tours. The sleek front area with style-defining fairing, aggressive-looking headlights and the 2-tone windscreen – everything is designed for high performance.
