CFMOTO 800NK ADVANCED: An in-depth review

Pete Vorst (Vorsty) took the CF Moto 800 NK Advanced out for a spin and here's what he found.

"Overall, it's a great bike, especially for the price. It punches above its weight in terms of performance.

The engine is a 799cc parallel twin that's both powerful and fun. It revs nicely and has a good amount of torque. The Advanced model costs a bit more than the standard version, but for the extra cash you get a quick shifter, a steering damper, and a beautiful 8-inch TFT dash with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth.

The suspension is top-notch. It's a set of KYB 43mm forks that are fully adjustable, so I could dial them in perfectly for my weight. Even lighter riders can adjust them for a comfortable ride. The brakes are good overall, but I might upgrade the pads for a little more stopping power.

The controls are a bit on the busy side and might be tricky for riders with big hands like me. But hey, at least it has cruise control as standard, which is a sweet feature at this price point. The levers are adjustable though, so smaller riders should be alright.

The only real downsides I found were the gearbox, which felt a little clunky, and the quick shifter, which wasn't the smoothest. But considering how affordable this bike is, these are minor quibbles."
