Alpinestars Calama Drystar Jacket (Grey/ Fluorescent Yellow). Designed to improve comfort and to reduce the effects of fatigue on long journeys. The Calama jacket has a built-in waterproof and breathable Alpinestars DRYSTAR? membrane as well as a full thermal lining, affording great versatility all year round. This technical jacket is an essential item in any touring driver’s wardrobe.

Made to be versatile

• Technically made in various materials with a highly abrasion and tear resistant polyester outer layer. It has a built-in multi-panel mesh lining.
• Reinforcements in key impact areas for improved durability and abrasion resistance.
• Removable lining with waterproof and breathable DRYSTAR ? sleeves, and sealed seams to ensure high performance.
• Removable long-sleeved thermal lining (130 g in the main body, 100g in the sleeves). The thermal lining is made from sonic padding for improved insulation and reduced thickness.
• Multi-layer sleeves so that the driver can remove the outer layer, retaining the reinforced mesh lining with built-in elbow and shoulder protection, when driving in warmer weather. The mesh sleeve with built-in protection is also removable. The cuffs have a combined Velcro ? and YKK zipped closure.

High performance protection and driving

• Removable CE certified Bio-Armor shoulder and elbow guards for superb impact protection.
• Foam chest and back protection compartments. The Nucleon KR-Ci guard and Nucleon KR-2i / KR-1i guard (not included) can be respectively attached.
• Width-adjustable, anatomical and pre-curved sleeves.
• The jacket has the built-in Jet Ventilation System (JVS) with zipped air vents at the front and generous air vents at the back.
• The sleeves have small, practical pockets containing reflective arm strips.

Comfort

• Several front, outside pockets; the two lower pockets are waterproof, cargo-style pockets, one of which is removable and has a transparent window converting it into a practical document holder.
• Large back pocket; it is removable and can be converted into practical hand-held bag.
• Several inside pockets.
• Soft lining on the collar and a Velcro ? closure.
• Adjustable waist.
• The jacket is longer at the back for maximum comfort when driving.
• Reflective, decorative details for improved visibility when driving at night or in poor light.
• Two connective zips for attaching trousers to the jacket (one on the outer layer and one on the DRYSTAR? membrane).
